Going to design some merch today. What do you want to see?
- GDG
I'm thinking of making some GDG! T-shirts because my pal, Hadley wants one.
Anyone else want one? I imagine they will be 15 quid because that way we get a bit of quality and we make zero money on them but like... the quality?
Whatever.
Yeah, ideally ten would be a good number.

Just recorded a new track, it's called 'Seaside'. It'll be on the new EP/album 'Thanks, Dad'.
Boom! Here it is! Our very first EP!
This is the most DIY EP you're ever going to hear and we love it! We wrote and recorded 'Make Me Proud, Son' over lockdown by recording bits through our phones and sending them to each other until Chris mastered the whole thing and turned it into this beaut.
Find it here on Bandcamp: https://godadgo.bandcamp.com/
If you like it, tell everyoine how great it is by giving it a share (and buying it). If you don't like it, tell everyone how rubbish it is by giving it a share (and buying it).

It's a 'Pay What You Feel' purchase. We had a big discussion about donating 100% of the funds to charity and settled on a fiver or less goes to Giving 1% (a community chest in Canterbury), and anything over a fiver, we will keep. So, from six quid, we get a quid, G1% gets a fiver.
It's official!
Our EP 'Make Me Proud, Son' is out tomorrow night!
It's a 'Pay What You Feel' price but we are donating 100% of the money to the Giving 1% community chest.
Yeah, so... get your hands on it.
- GDG.
Happy birthday to Chris recently, possibly yesterday? My bad for forgetting, Chris.
- GDG
Yeah, we still haven't released it but it is real, I have seen it, Hell, I even play on it.
- GDG!
I know we said we would put a song out but somebody has to finish their dissertation, so... after that.
- GDG.
Shall we release a track?
Y = Hell yeah!
N = I honestly don't care, this whole world is falling apart and you are a mathrock emo band (what even is that?) that records music on phones.
We haven't posted anything in a little while but rest assured your favourite band that has 'Dad' in the title (probably) is still about.
It's just hot as all Hell and our instruments have melted.
We got a click on 'send message' we are 100% sure it was an accident as, lo and behold, no message but still, it's a start.

Go, Dad, Go! has been speaking to a new skateboard company that is coming out of Kent at possibly doing a run of 'Go, Dad, Go!' themed skateboard decks.
So, that's pretty exciting.
Started writing the pop-punk feel bad song of the summer.

The phrase ‘Go, Dad, Go!’ is a joke started by Alex, Tom, and friends after they went to Tom’s daughter’s sports day and Tom smashed the ‘dad race’.
Currently, we are working on a lockdown EP called ‘Make Me Proud, Son’. It’s a four-track job, all of the proceeds from sales go to support the community chest ‘Giving 1%’. As we are in lockdown, all the guitar is recorded on a phone, sent to Chris, where he adds everything else (he’s the brains of the operation).
