So proud to have designed these banners for the South Shore United U15 and U17 AAA girls soccer teams. The sponsors on them are local businesses in support of the team's trip to England in 2025. In PEI right now to watch these girls in action! Go South Shore!

New biz cards came in the mail today!! I don't know what it is about business cards, but I love them. I love designing them and then seeing them printed is so rewarding. 💜

Playing with my old markers from art school today... I haven't pulled these out in 17 years until my son needed to make a poster for school and his Crayola markers weren't doing the job. It inspired me to go get a new sketchbook today and start playing again 💕🌸

I been pretty MIA on this account as I've been super focused this summer on my Moon Bee Magick Shop, however, I've still been constantly designing and revising my product labels and other items for the shop. A designer never rests!!!

Just wanted to hop on here as a reminder that I'm still always available for design work, even if I'm not as active on this page as I'd like to be!

Had so much fun creating this logo for my friend's husband recently! He sells used ATV parts and wanted something fun that would speak to the type of crowd that he caters to.

I hand drew the main part, then scanned and traced it to make it into vector art using Adobe Illustrator. Then I added colours and fonts. I have to admit, it was a little out of my comfort zone, as I hadn't created a logo of this magnitude (hand drawn then traced) in a long time! It was so fun in the end to see the finished product!

My son is turning 9 next week and I created these cool ticket-like invitations to hand out to his class today! The bottom has all the info and a pretend bar code, but I didn't want to post all that on the internet!! Love how these turned out. Just finished this logo combo for Honeywood Farm and their Kat's Bees Honey products. Loving how it turned out, as they can use their main Honeywood Farm logo on its own and for their other products they make and sell, like jams and wooden honey dips!

Getting my creative juices flowing on this rainy day organizing a scrapbook of my recent trip to Cayo Coco. My cat Rocky had a different idea of how my afternoon should go, lol. 🤣

Low Tide Treasures

So excited to present the latest design I created for my friend Lynn of Low Tide Treasures - inspired by her signature mussel shell heart design! We also chose a font that felt flowy like ocean waves. So happy with how it turned out!

My friend Brad just started an online business creating Magic the Gathering & Flesh and Blood box opening videos on YouTube and selling the cards on eBay. Here is his new business logo and card I created for him!

Today's from when I worked for Beyond Montessori School. This poster is from a fundraising event for the school that I organized in 2018. We had vendors, musicians, food and activities for the kids. I really liked how the poster turned out, it represented the fun atmosphere of the event!

Events have always been something I love to organize and design for. I have years of event experience from working for a high profile event company in Toronto, to being a Special Event Coordinator at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. I was so excited to get to work with Ashlee at Faye's Wildflowers Floristry to create this beautiful logo for her adorable floral shop in Lunenburg. I just love her shop, if you live in the area and haven't checked it out yet, please do! For her logo, we wanted to create something simple and elegant that captured the vibe of her shop. I think it turned out really well!

A beautiful wintry morning. I had to go take some photos of the pine tree in my backyard sparkling in the sunlight. My cat Tisha had a romp in the snow as well, haha. I find nature so inspiring ❄️✨

I'd like to take a minute and introduce myself! My name is Anna and I started my graphic design career at the Nova Scotia Community College in Halifax. It started with a program called Applied Communication Arts, at the time I had no idea what I wanted to do so this course covered a lot of bases and I remember loving everything, haha. This is why I think I've done so many jobs over the years, because I enjoy doing a lot of things and I often can't make up my mind!! But I've always come back to graphic design, even after studying Interior Design at Ryerson University in Ontario for 4 years, I still ended up being a graphic designer (amoung other things) at a staging company in Toronto where we did so many cool things, including my favorite, designing stages for Lady Gaga's Much Music Video Awards performances.

I dabbled in event planning, I was an Event Coordinator at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls for a few years, and that was my first job upon moving back to NS with my friend at Details Event and Design Studio.

After having my son, my life changed quite a bit, and I stayed home with him for many years, created my own side business making handmade products (see my other profile Moon Bee Magick Shop!) As I am now a single mom, and my son is 8 (when did that happen!?!?!), I decided it was time to stop just freelancing for my friends and start doing this for real!!

I enjoyed my time in Toronto and then St. Catharines, but I love Nova Scotia and am so happy to be home. I bring a variety of work and life experiences to the table and am hoping that I get to start meeting and working with lots of new people, locally or otherwise in 2022!
