Minneapolis gave me more than just football. It gave me people that will be family forever. It gave me adversity that shaped me into someone I can be proud of. It gave me a community of people who I know will always support every side of me. Thank you to the for gifting a kid from North Carolina the dream he worked for his whole life. Thank you God for surrounding me with such amazing people. I’m forever grateful for this experience. On to the next Chapter.

First headline show was the biggest highlight of my life. To hear you guys singing every word to songs I wrote in my bedroom was the most healing thing. I’m so thankful for each and every one of you. Who’s ready for the next one?

I’m still not sure I have the words to share what Monday night meant to me. To think this all started from my lowest point is a reminder to never give up on what God has planned for your life. Couldn’t be more grateful to for giving me the opportunity to be on their next album. Can’t wait for you to hear it!

Faith so strong that hell believes in it

I became an official artist one year ago today. I never thought people would like my music but I wanted to try anyway. There aren’t many words I can come up with so I’ll just say thank you. Thanks for letting me take a dark time in my life and make something that brought me, and hopefully you, hope and purpose.

“Where you need to be” shows you guys a side of me I haven’t shared before now. It’s my most authentic self.

I was inspired to write this song after a traumatic event in my life and share the depression that accompanied it. I found myself at one of my lowest points and that came with a sea of emotions. I felt lost. I didn’t know what my purpose in life would be without the one thing I truly knew: football.

Now that I’ve reached the other side of such a dark time, I realize how important it is to share my story so other people who might be experiencing something similar don’t feel so alone.

I hope to be a sense of hope for you. It’s important to me to share that there is in fact purpose in your pain and there is a way to overcome it.
