“pro tip: don’t forget to look up at the rocks at least two times during the show”

It was 2014 and I was on my way to red rocks for the first time..
Every concert since, I hear her voice in my ear & I pause to take it in.. the night sky.. the towering rocks.. I have a moment that feels like I’m floating in between space and time

I remember,
My first year in Colorado… finding myself and losing myself & so.. unaware of what was coming.
“You’ve had a great season” the older woman at the concession stand winked at me…

& That’s when I learned that they’re watching, that they’re with you.. even when it feels like you’re alone.

The night my best friend did L*D for the first time & we floated through the crowd saying “you’re a goddess!” .. no, you’re a goddess! We’re ALLL goddesses!!” 😮🥹

The second date at red rocks, so out of breath climbing the stairs & he made me CAWWW like a Raven over the crowd at the top!
When my ex & I weaseled our way into the after party & hung out with our favorite musicians families

Looking at my reflection in the mirror, pupils quite dilated, speaking out loud “you are so beautiful” & really really feeeling it
Hugging my sisters & my parents.. running into close friends, spotting my neighbors!

The synchronicities and the magic and the heartache and the coming to god moments within those rock walls

Moments I’m proud of, some I’ll keep with me forever, & others I wish I could go back to give myself much needed love.

Sometimes life changes so fast it can frighten you.

“But I remember, it’s the same heart… & that usually makes me feel better” I told Christian last night as we drove up to the venue
It was a magical night.. sober, grateful, alert, in love

What a gift to have those people who hold us through our seasons.

& yet,
Sometimes, it’s a place
&
Sometimes, it’s the rocks

Living Brave feels like these rocks for me.. there’s no ceiling.. the city skyline glistens in the distance.. and the moon.. THE MOON! You can never do it justice..

This community holds me in my seasons & will continue to witness my evolution. People come and go… the vibe shifts, the art lives. For that I feel eternally grateful.

No champagne
Not tonight.

I had a call with my amazing team [the same today!] imagining how we’ll look back & think… how early on.

My friend Kelsey & I walked to the Mile High stadium catching up about our past month apart.. going deep… giggling & jumping around like kids.

I had a flashback to us this time last year on that same loop. It was oddly cold in Denver, gloomy & dark - compared to last night’s refreshing breeze… the pink & purple sunset…

I’d been torn up about the uncertainty in my relationship, stabilizing into a quarter million dollar business, facing leadership challenges.

Here’s what I told Kels last night:
I’m happier than I’ve ever been.
I’m crystal clear.
My standards finally match me at all levels - personal, professional, love

We stopped at the garden on the way home, ate tomatoes off the vine & picked kale for our dinner.

We sat on the floor… pulled cards… talked about our big vision.

I built this on authenticity & heart.

I am who I am & I own all of it. I dream of a world where every person experiences this inner wealth.

What a relief, right?

That you can make a million $ & everything can change & your life can sweep you off your feet…

& yet in many ways, it stays the same. The good parts. The mess. The realness.

I sit in hotel lobby in LA with my dream partner, we’ve snowboarded in Chile, lived a month in Bali, nomaded from Mexico..

Living Brave blossomed as I did. Life is still absolutely mindblowingly incredible and still knocks me to my knees in pain.

I’m at peace with change. Kels & I took the most space in in 12 years. I truly am happier than I’ve ever been, but more so… more ME than I’ve ever felt… Im more generous kind understanding wildly imperfectly human. I’ve got so many ideas for us.

& I wonder, how good can it get? & I remember… What’s coming for you is far beyond your minds capacity to dream…
