Drink a half gallon of water a day, that’s 64 ounces or two Nalgene bottles!
75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated, dehydration can lead to weight gain, fatigue, low energy and dry skin!
Yes you will have to p*e... a lot! But eventually your body will get used to it and you will feel great! It’s a great excuses to get a fun new water bottle! Check out they are my favorite!
How do you stay motivated?
Sometimes it feels like a constant uphill battle, day in and day out. Work, responsibility, and life can quickly get in the way of your goals. Some of the best advice I have received on how to stay motivated was from my brother, he says always go to the gym, or go for the run if after the first few exercises or first mile you want to go stop and go home, you can. I have never wanted to go home once I was there. And have always felt better after going.
No one would get this close to the summit and then turn around even if the final stretch was the most brutal, because nothing beats the view from the top!
Whatever your goal is keep pushing, keep trying, keep dreaming! The hardest climbs are often lead to the most amazing views!
“The cold never bothered me anyway”
Unlike many, winter is by far my favorite season. Probably because I love to ski! But there is something special about a fresh snowfall, the cold air hitting your face, watching my dogs excitement when she plays in the snow. It’s like hitting the reset button, it keeps me focused on my goals. Plus the clothes are cuter too!
What is your favorite season? Comment below with your fav and why.
Did you know that 2/3 of people that make New Year’s Resolutions quit within three weeks! That’s why I choose a word for the year instead of making resolutions. It gives me guidance for the entire year and helps me dig deep and find motivation when I need it. This year my word is FEARLESS, to try new things, new experiences, meet new people and not be afraid to express my ideas and show confidence.
What would your word be for 2020?
22 vs 32...
“Leave the road, take the trails”
Great day to explore our new home!
“If we were meant to stay in one place we would have roots instead of feet”
Dreaming of ski season!
Awesome weekend in Colorado celebrating Mr and Mrs Brueggman and spending time with lifelong friends!
Nothing like a little pre wedding hike through the Holy Cross Wilderness to reset and recharge! Boy how I miss my Minnesota oxygen!
“Running reminds you that even in your weakest moments, you are strong.”
Exploring some new trails today on my run, I will always miss my my mountains but the river is not shabby at all!
“Be willing to be uncomfortable, get comfortable with being uncomfortable. It will get tough, but it’s a small price to pay to achieve your goals”
Better late than never, second workout for the day✔️
Morning have been cooler lately, summer is coming to an end, which unlike most never upsets me, I love the winter because this view never gets old!
“Sometimes you just know it’s time to start something new, and trust the magic of new beginnings.”
