There is so much beauty that comes from nature. When you connect with nature it opens a path to your heart, soul, & mind. It brings you a sense of peace. Nature has always inspired my creativity. Whether it was taking leaves as a child to create art, making dolls out of corn husks or simply watching the clouds in the sky take different forms and tell a story. As I grew my creativity grew & has allowed me to take the endless beauty in nature & make it into something different. To me, the vision of our Big project was the beauty of the wilderness & the snowy winters. Allowing nature to inspire our design. From the snow covered mountains to the colors of the earth, & the bark from the trees. We brought in some beautiful handcrafted wood furnishings that filled this home with a unique kind of warmth. When your children grow there are no last warnings of mommy read me a book, get me water, watch me, & the snuggles. Before you know it,time flashes & with the age gaps I feel it more. To stop time would be my superpower. I struggle daily between running a company & making sure I can be there in the small & big moments. The small are honestly big in these ages. This weekend my 9yr old said, “ Mom I had the best day because I got to be with you”. Its not the stuff, its a good reminder of the time and being present in those moments. If Im being honest I struggle with balance. I love my kids & what I do is for all of us to create home… Its my biggest joy and gift I was blessed with. Its unreal to collaborate & create home for our clients. My biggest inspo & drive comes from my favorite 4! xoxo #lifeisbeautiful

What do you think is behind these doors? No, it’s not a closet. It’s a custom murphy bed! When you have rooms that need to serve a dual purpose, a murphy bed is the perfect bridge. You’ll have room for guests when they come to visit but you’ll also have a functioning playroom or office when it’s just you and your family. This one was hard for me to do….As a child we had the old school murphy bed with the springs. It was broken and the bed took me right up with it. Major PTSD from it…let’s just say we made sure this one didn’t have springs! #vitaledesigngroup #interiordesign #murphybed #hiddenbed #hiddenelements
