The Bearbots recently went to their second competition at Woodhaven High School! Everyone had so much fun, and so many new members had really stepped up and showed their leadership skills! We love our Bearbots! β€οΈ
Member moment with Miles King! Miles is a first year FRC member but has been in robotics before on the wyandotte FTC team! We're so happy to have him join our family this year! π«Ά
Q: What has been your favorite moment from robotics so far? π€
A: "Just being here. I like it when I hang out with you guys, I miss you guys, I like to learn about new things, learn about what parts the robots are made from, how robots are made, how programming is used within it."
Q: Why did you join robotics? π€
A: I missed robotics and I felt like it'd be a good club to have on my college application and reports
Member moment with our big brained member JOE VASQUEZ!
Joe is a first year member of the Bearbots and is determined to learn all he can! π»
-
Q: What has been your favorite moment in robotics so far?π€
A: Being able to brainstorm and share ideas, and overall have fun with my friends
Q:Do you forsee yourself joining robotics again in the future?
A: yes i do see myself doing it again next year.
Q: What do you think you'll get out of robotics? π€
A: I hope to gain experience that i can use towards future careers and college related things
MEMBER MOMENT with our very own HUNTER MENDEZ! Hunter is a 2nd gen Bearbot and is outstanding at taking charge of the build team! π» βοΈ
-
Q: What is your favorite moment from your time in robotics so far? π€
A: Probably the first competition I went to at Belleville and seeing how hyped up and interested everyone was in it, and how helpful and nice other teams were
Q: Why did you join the High school robotics team? π€
A: Because I like building things and I get to learn new skills with machines and tools there π
MEMBER MOMENT!!! π»
Introducing...Dylan Mayrand! A new member of the bearbots who is a part of the programming team!
-
-
Q: What has been your favorite moment in robotics so far? π€
A: Meetings where everyone is locked in and stuff. Days where we're brainstorming, designing, and building. Idk what it is about those days, but it felt cool. Other than that, there was this day that the programming team was in the hall, and it felt like I learned a lot
Q: Do you forsee yourself joining robotics again in the future? And what do you think you'll get out of robotics? π€
A: Oh yeah, of course, Imma do it next year without a doubt. I see myself getting some coding experience under my belt, and Iβll probably use that knowledge to dive deeper into the world of coding, whether that be in online classes or something similar. Other than that, I saw myself already getting more experience with building stuff and using machinery. So in the future, I can see myself getting even more experience with those as well
Congratulations to Lily, Rachel, Maria, Sam and Caden! ππ»π€ππ
Watch the founding members of the BearBots (and the WMS FTC team) on the Bears Den. They have been together as a team for 7 years! Their expertise will be missed but their legacy will live on! Thanks to Mr Krajewski for giving them the chance to share their experiences with the community. πππ»π€

The BearBots conquer Fridayπ» Belleville was awesome today, every team killed it! Re*****on Von Needham III made us so proud today, and that includes the input from our many wonderful drivers who led the way and programmers and builders that made it possible. I'm so glad to see everyone enjoying themselves even through the rough times, and our new members getting out there like they've been at it for ages. I hope everyone is proud of themselves and our teams improvement. You deserve to be.
SEE YOU TOMORROW BELLEVILLE!!!
