Hi my name is John iv been painting and drawing for many years, i mainly paint draw birds , i take commissions and i also do cat and dog portraits, i mostly use Acylics and pencils.
Not done anything for a while as i now have bowl cancer, and currently undergoing treatment.
Two great spotted woodpeckers.

This is a common myna bird i brought up and let myna go in the wild when became an adult.

Well as a kid my mum and dad had a large garden and grew everything to eat apples pears gooseberries and all vegetables, we also had chickens which i used to feed, but as for wild birds my first real memories are of sparrows so thats my inspiration of drawing these.

Started my little fun dog kiwi was given to me now shes four years old, so to make a change from birds thought i would do my little dog in Acylics. Anyone else use plates find them really useful for mixing paint.
