This is the official page of the Youth Ministry of the Archdiocese of Lusaka.
Its existence is to create a virtual interaction with all the youths in our Archdiocese and beyond - to inform and to educate, to evangelise and to socialise.

We would like to express our gratitude to all the parishes and deaneries that participated in the Youth ADL games on October 28th, 2023. We extend our special thanks to our guests from Italy, who brought a gift for each football team, as well as the teams that made it to the finals in Netball and Volleyball. Their generosity is highly appreciated. This marks the beginning of many more great things and collaborations to come.

Many thanks to the youths mainly from Chawama deanery (and Chawama Parish specifically) for coming to help out with cleaning the venue for the upcoming celebrations of the World Youth Day. We shall meet on Wednesday ✌🏽.

The formation workshop of a new team of facilitators of Yes Retreats, Life Matters workshops and Leadership workshops ended successfully in Situmbeko last weekend. 19 youths from various parishes attended this program. These will work together with the already existing team.
We thank them for accepting this mission and for availing themselves for this workshop. We thank also our two facilitators of this activity, Mrs. L. K***a and Ms. C. Chomba for their availability and effective delivery of the sessions. We wish our new facilitators God's abundant blessings as they embark on this important journey in their Christian life of inspiring their fellow young people.

Today, 15th July 2023, about 280 matrons and patrons of youths from various parishes of the Archdiocese of Lusaka gathered at Pope Square for a seminar on "Youth animation: growing the Church from the grassroots." We thank them for a positive response to this call and we wish them God's abundant blessings as they continue to animate our young people in the Church.
Many thanks also to the 3 facilitators for their availability and effective delivery of the talks.

ADL YOUTH MUSICAL CONCERT 🎙️
Just a few hours away from 24th June… Let us all come in numbers, fill up Pope Square and share life together through music. We have various performances from choirs, individuals and youthful bands. Gates open at 8:30hrs and at 9hrs we start making holy noise 😊.
NB:
If you are coming with a vehicle, you will have to use the gate on Alick Nkhata Road and park it on the side of the cathedral church as no vehicle will be allowed through the other gate.

Adrian Mung’andu Technical Boys Boarding School, a school that the diocese is building in Njolwe area off Leopard Hill Road in Chongwe District, is taking shape. The turnoff is just before the turnoff to Palabana University. It is a masterpiece 👌🏽.
