Would you believe I bought them year's ago and never used them once 😂 I'm trying to use up all the art supplies I've purchased over the years since I always feel compelled to buy new ones at the store. You'll probably see me using these a lot more in the future

Anyone remember the 6 Fanart challenge I started? Probably not since that was almost 2 years ago (when I was still using Photoshop). I chose the first 4 from people's suggestions and through a random draw but the last two are original characters of a good friend of mine that I've been wanting to draw for a really long time

It felt really good to finally finish something that has been sitting on the back burner for so long and I love to see the visible difference that 2 years has on my style. There are elements that I like about all of them but my absolute favourites are Kumatetsu and Kat.

Another playlist cover. This method of painting is something I've never tried before. As always there are things I could do better but I'm super happy with the result. Slowly getting back into art 👍👍 also notice my new signature in bottom right hand corner ☺️

Another redraw. Here's a little piece of Artist advice: Keep trying. If its not what you want the first time, try again. It won't always be perfect on the second time either but by learning from the first time and making note of the mistakes you've made, you will see improvement in other projects. Tackle this project again in a year and you will see how far you've gone.

A short hike...

Just a tidbit from my sketchbook. I love it a lot because of the texture on her dress and the little crow shes holding has visible separate parts which is difficult when drawing something black. I love to see my improvement especially when looking at past sketch books. Hands, feet and profile faces have been a challenge for me for so long that I sometimes don't see the improvement until I look at the old stuff. Its gradual but very gratifying!
