Sunlight is the most significant source of blue light. Artificial sources of blue light include fluorescent light, compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs, LEDs, flat screen LED televisions, computer monitors, smart phones and tablet screens.

As a teacher, we usually use electronic gadgets most especially in our current situation. Continued exposure to blue light over time could damage retinal cells and cause vision problems such as age-related macular degeneration. Spending most of our time using digital devices can cause eye strain.

Using blue light eye glasses can help us with this problem.
