It’s been a bit so I figured it was time for an update.

Screen time reports are down, and the garden is in! This season of life has been a busy one, and the feeling of being more present with these guys fills my cup much more than being present on social media 😬.

While this is the busiest end of May/June I think we’ve ever had, school is out for summer!! Which means there will soon be short snippets of time for my creative outlet to shine a bit more than it has these last few months.

But please know, social media *to me*, takes a lot of mental energy that I don’t have much of to share. Maybe if I were Donald Trump, it would be a bit more relevant to my life. Alas, I’m just a small town teacher, wife, and mama trying to grow my garden and raise my babies to be contributing members of society and not v**e in the high school bathroom. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So although I may be a bit absent here, please know, there are still a few pieces up on the site AND I was able to restock at yesterday too (best quality/price polymer clay accessories they offer IMO) . 🥳

My goal this summer is to keep Artisan’s stocked and spend time with my babies (look how fast they’re growing!). I’ll post updates and new pieces here occasionally, but please don’t take offense if you send a message or comment and it takes a bit for a reply. 😘

The snow is nearly gone. I’m still not caught up with laundry. The kids are at little youth group, and able to play outside a bit.

Life is slowly starting to feel a little bit more normal after a wild few of months, and I’m beginning to feel a sigh of relief from the holidays, Covid, snow storm, AMI teaching and pinners prep. 😅

Because life has been so crazy, I am going to give myself grace with getting everything listed on my website/Etsy - as it is a very time consuming process.

I’ll be sure to give all the sneaks of what’s to come, and keep you posted on when things will be listed for sale.

Once I feel more balance and rested - I can promise you - it will get done, and I know you won’t be disappointed in the pieces I have to offer. 🤩

We’ll start by sharing a *few* of the pieces inspired by 🤍love🤍.

The last few months of 2021, 100% did not go as planned for the Bathgate fam. It was, quite literally, one thing after another. So I do apologize for being MIA, but I felt it was important to set family as my #1, and really slow down to enjoy far to many games of Junior Monopoly with the kiddos.

We welcomed Christmas break with open arms, and it has been so good for the soul. After a few days of chaos, this morning, we’ve got one kiddo still snoozing, while the other is finally taking a break from playing to chill in the couch and watch Encanto.

With the slow down I’m finally finding a few minutes to prep pieces to head to later today, for a much needed restock.

While it’s been a bit since I’ve sat down and felt my creative energies working, I have so many fun new pieces in my head, and I can’t wait to see how they play out in real life, which gives me the motivation to get prep in full force. Bring on those late nights (once those kiddos are in bed 😆).

So, cheers to really bad rainy day lighting, a cup of lukewarm coffee, slow mornings, and God’s grace through all the chaos. 🤍

Cheers to the last week of summer!

Again today, I did not clean my floors or do our laundry. 😅

The kiddos and I made an drop off and a trip with my sister and her twin boys. Then spent the rest of the day with them pretending to be baby dinosaurs.

Honestly, it was a day that I needed more than I thought. I’m struggling with trying to enjoy these last couple weeks of summer while also feeling bogged down by the never ending everyday to day tasks.

So for anyone else who may be feeling this way, just go have the play date. Drink your coffee slow. And pretend to be the baby dinosaur. Your cup will be more full and the laundry and dirty floors are going no where, trust me. 🤍
