A DAY OFF? … what the WHOLE day? It’s vlog time again come see us as the sun goes down later tonight… and as requested by many of you showing you more of Kennexstone campsite & what we get up too but also we take you home with us and peel ourselves of our garden sunloungers.. We walk over to the beautiful lake opposite our cottage and chat about well … that’s just it who knows… joining Mark on todays vlog will be Stella who came in a lot cheaper than his friend San Miguel 😂

Just a tad over 10 weeks and we will be packing away our work uniform till next spring and taking you with us on another crazy winter sun adventure… we can’t promise you scripted or planned perfectly edited filming 😜 but we can promise you real said as it is, unscripted choas and fun … another 3 vlogs to follow till you get us almost every day… I hope your ready! It’s not all about holidays in the sun ☀️.. well it is mostly 😜 but we’ve been busy at our cottage building new fencing and tidying up the garden along with the help of San Miguel.. join us from the beach by the campsite next week for our June vlog, Turkey holiday cost and a good old catch up xx

Never fancied Turkey? For a long time neither did I, then decided finally to go one year, a change from the Canaries and Greek Isles and went for a visit …just wow!!…the year was 2008…Many visits later ..we’re going back and we invite you to come along with us. October is a tricky month to negotiate a good deal due to the half term inflated prices and because this was also a mad last minute idea of mine ..we managed to save £221 on the overall price by a little trick… so we have just under 3 weeks in Turkey before we fly to Cyprus.. don’t miss the June vlog coming soon for how much Turkey cost us xx

Hope you’re all enjoying your hols, it’ll soon be our turn again 😊…we are well here on Gower, trying to save the pennies up for winter and do some work on the cottage on our days off. It’s a very quiet camping season this year unlike any we have had previously.. just wish this weather would do one, beginning to forget what the sun looks like..The June vlog is coming soon with travel updates, costs of our entire new winter adventure.. oh did I mention it’s now 5 months abroad? 🙃 it’s now called the ‘Schengen Shuffle’ 😂 but only where the sun shines.. see you all soon x

Thanks for staying with us over our working season at the campsite.. we will put at least 1 vlog out a month until we hit October then we will be vlogging away till March… Junes vlog will be a budget one as we’ve now added 3 weeks in Turkey to our adventures so we will detail the costs as always.. so the savings goal increases 😃 less chocolate and beer till then 🙃 see you again soon x

Oops done it again.. there is an advantage to early hour insomnia.. Found a British Airways flight for £55 each back into Gatwick from Lanzarote.. feel a bit posh now 😁

With a tad over 19 weeks left of work this year... Where's the time going? Our winter adventures are all planned...sounds exciting doesn't?... but how easy is it to give up normal life and switch to the 6/6 lifestyle.. Do you need savings first? How do you save on a campsite wardens wage? How much do you need to save for winter in the sun and 6 months off? Do you sell, rent or keep your house? How do we find great bargains for holidays and flights? How do we know if a campsite is good to work for?.... And to answer a really important one... Yes you must love cleaning!! What have we been up to now?
We are trying to find hot places over the winter to take you too as 90 days in The Canaries is the limit .. Cyprus is not in the scheghen zone yet and neither is Turkey .. now then ..do we feel another adventure coming on? 🤔..so we’ve booked these fab hotels in Calis and Kas along the turquoise coast of Turkey.. just monitoring the flights in October there sky high at the moment.. so we will keep you updated as soon as I’ve snapped a bargain.. and of course Mark will be doing a Cypriot and Turkish beer review I’m sure 😜 don’t worry we will still be in Lanzarote & Tenerife too x

Meanwhile back at camp… you don’t have to be a bit mad to work here but it helps .. now all we need is some sunshine ☀️

Anyone else having trouble with WIZZ AIR? Booked flights 3 times and twice the flights have been cancelled! App deleted!
As it happens found an EasyJet flight cheaper so all works out in the end.. 21 weeks left of work … just saying 🙃

So we finally got to spend our christmas voucher from Marks girls… Thankyou 😃 .. The hand luggage Bordlite rucksacks were rubbish from last winter and are fit only for the bin… so hopefully these will be more sturdy and cope with our 7 possibly 9 flights this winter… of course Ken bear is already attached to them 🤪
