Krumm Residence

The Krumm Residence is one of the few late nineteenth century residences that has survived along South High Street. This Italianate style building was constructed in 1885 as the home of Alexander Krumm, a lawyer who served as City Solicitor from 1879-1883. The property was recently converted to office use. Significant exterior architectural details include an entablature with frieze windows, string course, double scroll wooden brackets, shaped carved stone lintels, ornamental chimneys, imbricated slate roof, and a cast iron ornamental fence.
