I’m teaching a semester of Intaglio at Southwestern University… finishing up line etching & drypoint ( last pic) & starting aquatint. The aquatint box is amazing - no power ~ hand crank & wheel becomes the plate grate - pins keep it from moving while the plate is in the box & the crank placement has to be perfectly align but the simplicity of the design is pure art. Hoping we have some success , , , , , , ,

I try not take it personally it’s like someone asking me to wear eye shadow - it seems gender biased for some reason - but I’m probably overthinking it.
