As much as we are a generation that needs to undergo transformation therapy to unlearn certain habits affecting our adulthood negatively, I believe we turned out better than most of children might.

We are a pioneering generation of mothers and fathers, there is a lot of trial and error in trying to right the wrongs done to us as children.

But I still say, be the adult you needed as a child. Yes, change is not easy but it is definitely worth it!

CHILDREN OF TODAY DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT IN OUR DAYS YOU COULD BE BEATEN FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. Crying too long after being beaten
2. Not crying after being beaten
3. Crying without being beaten
4. Standing where elders are sitting
5. Sitting while elders are standing
6. Walking around aimlessly where elders are seated
7. Eating food prepared for visitors
8. Refusing to eat
9. Coming back home after sunset
10. Eating at the neighbour's home
11. Generally being too moody
12. Generally being too excited
13. Losing a fight with older age mate
14. Winning a fight with your age mate
15. Eating too slowly
16. Eating too quickly
17. Eating too much
18. Not finishing your food
19. Finishing your food and scraping your plate
20. Eating and talking
21. Sleeping while the elders in the house have already woken up
22. Looking at the visitors while they are eating
23. Stumbling and falling when walking
24. Looking at an elder eye ball to eye ball
25. When an elder is talking to you and you blink
26. When an elder is talking to you and you stare and not blink
27. When you look at an elder through the corner of your eye
28. When your mates are playing street football and you join them
29. When your mates are playing and you don’t join them
30. When you don't wash your dish after eating
31. When you wash your dish improperly
32. When you almost break your dish
33. When you break your dish
34. When you bite your nails.
34.. When you don't bath.
35. When you bath too quickly
36. When you take too long to bath.
37. When you’re beaten in school for misbehaving
38. When a car almost knocks you down
39. When a car knocks you down and you don’t die.
40. For not answering when spoken to
41. For answering back when spoken to.
42 Beaten for going to Church or Mosque late.
43. Beaten for borrowing shoe/wears from friends.
44. Giving salt or needle to neighbors without their permission.

Today is a great day to spend with your son and daughter. It's not a day of gift giving....except for the gift of time. If your son and daughter are still young and live at home with you, be ever aware that time goes by quickly. So, spend as much of today and everyday in their company.

Happy Son and Daughter Day

Like life of a river flows into the direction it is supposed to, at its own pace; with no one stirring it. All that is meant for me, is flowing my direction.

After being trained, certified to be a Reading Champion by the Department Of Basic Education and being in practice with the youngest of scholars; I wish I was a this day and age scholar because we grew up without all these in our public schools.

I'm all about making an impact and difference in the lives of those around me and being in it to redefine it gives great fulfilment to my soul.

How To Make Reading a Regular Habit.

1. Picking a Regular Time to Read - Ideally some time that you have available every day of the week. This will be your hour, your 30-minutes, your little reading break.

2. Reading Every Day - “Every day or not at all.” This is something that is said a lot in regards to habit building. The reason for this is that just one day off can get you into old habits again and out of the roll you’ve been on.

3. Starting with Great Books - If you are looking at a question like this you likely have a reading list. Start off with the best book on that list, the one that excites you the most, so you get that extra bit of motivation to start this habit.

4. Keeping it Effortless - The amount you read should be something that you can do even on a busy or bad day. There is no reason to go overboard right away. You can always increase the time later.

5. Having a Set Place to Read - Ideally a comfortable chair or couch, but a place where you do not sit for other reasons. If you do not have one then at least turn your chair around. This small trick will link reading to a physical sensation that makes it much easier to get started.

6. Start Today - Do not wait until tomorrow. Tomorrow is a long, long, long way off.

7. Do not fret about a missed Day - It is not about how consistent you are with it but how many hits you get in in a certain timeframe. If you read 300 days out of the year with irregular breaks and no long chain, it will still be better than a single 100 day chain of reading days.

8. Read for You - Read because you enjoy it, because you love to learn or simply because it is a good habit to pick up for your life.

Life is made up of seasons and ive decided to purposefully walk into and be present in each season, for it is mine for a greater good reason.

The season i am in is that of redefinition. A season where I am analyzing all around me to honestly converse with myself about what serves and what spoils. Whatever has no meaning to my path is to fall away and the absence of clutter will have me more energized and less burdened.

The space will make beautiful way for the season after. But seeing that I just got here, let me breath through each minute and remind myself that each loss is making way for a more extravagant gain!

Share your season with me and let's inspire others

Dear August,

I welcome you with a heart pure and warm. For it is without a doubt that you will blow away all the clutter the seasons had me accumulate. The or***ms of your blows will accelerate the beauty of all blessings flowing my way.

I can't wait to feel the vibrations the gift of you is to release into my spirit.

So many battles she fought alone, you'll never know them all.
So many times she's worked to help you heal from every fall.
Although you rarely thank her, she has a job to do
And she does it well, in silence, she does it all for you.

Each bruise, she healed, each wound she nursed, each breath she helps you breathe.
She heals you in each moment, never stops, works while you sleep.
Look after her, she loves you, she's a picture of your time.
She's your body, healing every day so you can feel alive.

Quest of reconnecting to one self is not for the faint hearted. It requires a lot of strength and most times complete weakness so as to allow yourself to be present in moments.

The older we grow without reconnecting that plug the more lost some of us be.

What mental health self-help books are you currently reading?

Since I have taken a break from radio, the few that got a chance to bite bits and pieces of that journey been prompting me to at least podcast (on Hustle 101 and all matters of the psyche ~ as it is a short cut to self care) and I've been delaying for a year now.

I am ready to shed light cited from others and my own experiences on this path. But I cannot do it without you, your experiences and willingness to sit with me.

Taking timeout to participate in this programme brought a milestone difference to House Of Tse Ntle and Intimacy Bae.

We grow the brands one step at a time and the importance of financial literacy is one element of all business foundations that collapse a lot of start ups.

I extend sincere gratitude to The Business Skills For South Africa Foundation and PriceWaterHouseCoopers.

I'm psychologically at a place where I cannot afford to FREELY give anymore...

What that simply means is if I love you, I need you to love me BACK. If I openly care about you, I need for you to care about me too. If I sacrifice for you, I need reciprocation of that. If I protect you, I don't need you to expose me to harm.

My mental capacity doesn't allow me to be pouring from an empty cup anymore. I am not to accept one sided love, energy and vibes anymore.

We all deserve reciprocation of what we become to others.
