Both workshops are available to everyone, with variations dependant on ability or health issues.
Each days aim is to:

Oxygenate the blood

Relieve stress, depression, anxiety and tension
And to overall leave you feeling great in yourself

In our small Pilates Apparatus studio, we offer 1-2-1, & small groups.
Breathwork in general creates immediate and often long lasting positive effects on the body and mind.
Granted, different methods of breathing we use to access different systems within our bodies. Whether we want to lift our mood, relieve stress, train our nervous system, balance the hormonal system, strengthen the immune system or simply to just feel great.
One certainty is, when we make breath work An everyday practice, much like cooking or brushing our teeth it simply becomes a habit and this is when the paradigm shifts.
We drastically improve the way we deal with stress or anxiety. We become more patient and much calmer in our approach to life.
Our personal and professional lives become better and our overall happiness becomes much more consistent.

Breathing helps not only you but also those close to you, calmness and positivity resonates and therefore creates a much more vibrant environment.
Breath Awareness
This is a deeply beautiful practice of creating a conscious habit where we are increasing our own personal awareness to how we breathe.
During our day or various situations, whether it's driving a car, exercise, moments of stress or pressure, deadlines at work or the other 1000 things each day that effect us mentally and physically.
Our body does a superb job of automatically adjusting our breath to counter external stimuli, but in this modern day in which we live we rarely give our breath a seconds thought.
We breathe approximately 22,000 times a day.....
YES 22,000!!!!
For most people this is largely continuous shallow breathing.
When did you last consciously take a break to stop and breathe deeply for 5 minutes?
Been a while huh?
So now, in this moment, stop, sit or lie down comfortably and over 5minutes just breathe deeply.
Get into the practise of doing this 2 or 3 times a day until it becomes a habit.
Heres just a few benefits we get from correctly breathing and bringing in more oxygen:
Maximised oxygen to the body and cells,
Less stress (lower cortisol),
Less blood acidity,
Better sleep,
Better control of the hormonal system (more dopamine and serotonin) that's your feel good hormones,
Lower inflammation.
