On 12th April we received the life changing news that Charlotte had a cancerous brain tumour that had spread to her spine. She underwent surgery to remove most of the tumour and we are so proud she has finished 31 intensive radiotherapy treatments. She is now receiving 4 cycles of chemotherapy and we are hoping for a positive outcome. We wanted to start a fundraiser for these extremely giving charities that have stopped at nothing to help us through Charlotte's difficult journey.
CLIC Sargent Belfast has provided us with a home to stay in while Charlotte receives Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. We cannot express how much this means to us and the other families staying in the house. CLIC Sargent do amazing work all over the UK with homes in 11 cities alleviating the stress of travel and allowing parents to stay with their children through treatment. 50% of the proceeds raised will go directly to CLIC Sargent Belfast to fund the home and help staff.
Angel Wishes is an NI based charity that travels all over the country to help children and young people who are undergoing treatment for a variety of life threatening cancer related conditions with gifts such as toys and clothes, electronic tablets and WiFi connectivity to enable them to keep in touch with family and friends in hospital. 50% of proceeds raised will go directly to Angel Wishes to help them continue their amazing work.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. We will divide the proceeds from our JustGiving page and our coffee morning 50/50 making sure both charities get what they deserve. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much for taking the time to donate. Every penny makes such huge a difference.
