Hustle.
As a fanboy of movies and basketball I feel like this film was made for me. This movie has one foot firmly planted in reality and the other in fantasy and it bloody works. The standout performance is as Anthony Edwards (Kermit) who is a super athletic Minnesota Timberwolves guard; he’s 21 and holy cats he can definitely act.(go watch some of his ballin’ highlights now. I said go!)
Adam Sandler was superb.
Juancho Hernangomez was brilliantly cast as the lead (hes an Orlando Jazz forward). It’s full of basketball cameos which we all know I love.
This films isn’t original in many ways but it does move away from things you might expect. It’s a love letter to basketball from Sandler (who can hoop) if you Juarez seen him play you know this. It’s up there with some of the greatest basketball movies of all time and is a top tier sports movie. It’s also just a feel good flick come the end; think Chef feel good.

We’re finally Mr and Mrs Movie Grouch & Fanboy! Now all that nonsense is done and dusted we can get back to normal. You’ll be hearing from us soon!
