I am very proud to announce that we have now over 45000 helicopter photographs in the database. These pictures, thanks to Andrew J. Muller show a historic moment for Suriname where at the Paramaribo - Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (SMJP) this cargo became offloaded for the first time from a Volga Dnepr Airlines Antonov An-124-100 with registration number RA-82046. This An-124 delivered the cargo along with two AW139 registration VP-CHJ and VP-CHF, on January 16, 2015, for CHC Helicopters. CHC Helicopters was using these helicopters for offshore transports to an ocean rig. Keep up by giving me such incredible input.

On December 7, 2023, a poignant ceremony unfolded at Rygge Air Base, the esteemed home of the Royal Norwegian Air Force 330 Squadron in southeastern Norway, signifying the nearing conclusion of an era for a stalwart helicopter. The event, graced by distinguished figures such as Major-General Rolf Folland, Chief of the Royal Norwegian Air Force, and State Secretary John-Erik Vika, marked a historic transition.

The highlight of the ceremony was a majestic formation flyby, featuring the last four operational Sea Kings soaring alongside an AW101. Against the backdrop of the squadron hangars, the AW101 gracefully broke away and descended, symbolizing a poignant changing of the guard. Following this symbolic moment, the four Sea Kings embarked on their farewell flight.

With destinies diverging, three of the Sea Kings are set to find homes in museums at Gardermoen, Sola, and Bodo, while the fourth will transition into an instructional airframe at Bardufoss in northern Norway. This ceremonial event not only celebrated the legacy of these helicopters but also ushered in a new chapter in Norway's aerial history. These helicopters featured in the photographs below only ship #189 took part of the fly-out ceremony. Stay tuned for more updates https://htdi-int.com

In the past few weeks, we've received some fantastic updates that I'm excited to share with you. To ensure the uninterrupted functionality of the helicopter database, we've implemented a server mirroring system. This means that even if one server goes offline, registered users will still be able to access the database.

Additionally, we've expanded our database with new photographs that were generously provided by some of our members. This enriches the content and enhances the overall user experience. Thank you for your continued support and contributions! https://htdi-int.com/detail-93488.html?l=en<yp=st

I appreciate the contributions made by Philip Cole, who graciously provided me with the opportunity to include 107 of his fantastic helicopter photographs from various locations. I have also taken the initiative to update the current status of all these helicopters. However, it is with regret that I must inform you that two of the helicopters featured in his photographs were involved in accidents and subsequently lost. For comprehensive reports on these incidents, I encourage you to refer to the full user documentation. If you require further details or have any specific inquiries, please feel free to reach out to me, and I'll be glad to assist you.
