Roy Ayers is an innovative jazz vibraphonist and jazz-funk pioneer. This album, Virgin Ubiquity II, is a mesmerizing mix of 1970s jazz-funk that could not be found anywhere else all on one album, especially produced under the guidance of just one person. Roy Ayers jams on vibraphone throughout the album, giving it notable unity. The album has essentially no weak points, but my favorite songs are Funk in a Hole and Liquid Love.
