I am running for the District 53 seat in the Kansas House of Representatives. I chose to run out of concern at what appears to be a pervasive lack of common sense and unwillingness to work toward finding consensus on practical solutions. I believe collaboration and working toward win-win solutions are the best interests of our residents and our state.

A bit about me. I am a wife, mother of three and grandmother to eight. I’m a 30-year resident of my district and have worked almost three decades for the Kansas Legislative Services in various capacities. During that time I’ve seen and learned how the legislative process works, and at times, has broken down. My experience will allow me to hit the ground running on day one to address good legislation for the State of Kansas and its residents.
