RMID fun fact: With each project, I leave a little piece of myself behind. This project has a small alabaster sculpture which was sculpted by my great grandfather, Bernard Simon! I wanted the entryway to be impactful; From the reflective wallpaper and bone console, to the cowhide mirror and bamboo sconces. Photography:

For the next week I will release a new photo from a recently completed project in River North.
I guess since this is the first photo of this series, it is only right to start at the entryway! When we started this project, it was a white wall, timber frame loft. Can you believe it? The client and I visited and sourced wall coverings, rugs and fabrics galore. Finding the balance between texture, color and scale was a challenge…but I think we got it right. 😉
