Hey everyone! Been awhile since I have posted on here. I am going to start posting much more frequently. Videos, motivational quotes, , mental health topics, resources etc... I took this picture at the gym today. It is just a reminder to reach for the sky and reach for your dreams no matter how far away they may be. Today I thought I would try and lift heavier for my half kneeling military press. I was able to accomplish 2 sets with 20lb rather than 15lb. This didn't just happen in a day it took hard work, a year of training and gaining my strength back. But you to can do things in your life that may seem impossible in the moment. You just have to work at it little by little each week. This is just a reminder that you can do, you just have to believe and try. Get out there and reach for your goals, you wont regret it!
Welcome to another video focused on mental health. This weeks topic is self care. Self care is any activity that you engage in that helps your physical, mental or emotional health. It is something that you should try and engage in as long and as often as you can. Whether that be 10 minutes or a full day, once a week or once every day. Some examples of self care activities are meditation, going for a walk in nature, listening to music, journaling. One self care activity you can do right now is think of five things you are greatful for. You can either post them here in the comments, share with friends and family, private message me or just keep them to yourself. I have some time on my hands in the next couple of weeks for feel free to message me about anything mental health related or anything about life. Hello everyone and welcome back to another mental health topic. I apologize about the lack of content in the past month but I'm busy with work and taking care of myself. Burn out is a common thing that is experienced by a lot of people. It slowly creeps up on us until we crash and we burn. If you are interested in learning about what burn out is, the causes and what you can do to prevent/treat it please listen to my video. Also please think about the question, what do you do to help bring you joy/bring you back to your regular self when you notice you are experiencing the signs and symptoms of burn out? I believe that the mind and body are so connected and this was actually another option I had for the name of this page. This video explains what physical health is and how physical health is related to mental health. I look at people and want to help them from a holistic approach. Welcome to my second video on this page. This video is introducing why I am so passionate about mental health and more on why I created this page before I dive to deep into content. The number one reason is my own personal mental health journey. and helping others so they do not suffer as long as I did. I have also seen many friends and family members lives been impacted by mental health issues, with some having mental health disorders and others experiencing burn out. I have seen people that I know personally and indirectly struggle with their mental health and be on all aspects of the continuum. Third I want to bring awareness to mental health as it is not talked about enough. It is just as or even more important than physical health. It makes me sad the impact mental health is having on society such as lack of support, increased su***de rates, stigma, an increased in mental health disorders. I want help others feel like they are not going through this alone. So start prioritizing your mental health as it is more important now than ever!
