A friends have posted this morning and it resonated with me hard, so I wanted to share with you all...♥️
“Can I let you in on a secret about friendships in adulthood?
Sometimes they are really freaking hard.
Like, really freaking hard.
But so often the friends we have in our adult years are the only thing saving us from hitting rock bottom.
The truth is that even the strongest friendship bonds are not forged in stone. No, just as life is ever changing, friendships will always ebb and flow.
Sometimes your closest friends fade away into the background of your life.
Sometimes background friends somehow become part of your inner circle.
Sometimes brand new people enter your life and become the friends you never knew you needed.
Sometimes your heart aches because it misses the friendships that used to be but are no more.
No matter where you are in your adult friendship journey, don't overthink it and don't dwell in the past.
Instead, hold on tight and ride the friendship wave.
Welcome the ones that find their way to you.
Send peace to the ones who fade away.
Love the friends that are there right now.”
God Bless 🙏❤️🙏

Remembering Les Paul who was born Lester Polsfuss on this date June 9, 1915 in Waukesha, WI.
He was one of the pioneers of the solid-body electric guitar, and his prototype, called the Log, served as inspiration for the Gibson Les Paul. Paul taught himself how to play guitar, and while he is mainly known for jazz and popular music, he had an early career in country music. In the 1950s, he and his wife, singer and guitarist Mary Ford, recorded numerous records, selling millions of copies.
Paul is credited with many recording innovations. His early experiments with overdubbing (also known as sound on sound),delay effects such as tape delay, phasing, and multitrack recording were among the first to attract widespread attention.
Among his many honors, Paul is one of a handful of artists with a permanent exhibit in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is prominently named by the music museum on its website as an "architect" and a "key inductee" with Sam Phillips and Alan Freed. Paul is the only inductee in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
Paul died August 12, 2009 at the age of 94.
Remembering the great Etta James.. R.I.P. 🌹
Jamesetta Hawkins (Jan 25, 1938 – Jan 20, 2012), known professionally as Etta James, was an American singer who performed in various genres, including gospel, blues, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, and soul. Starting her career in 1954, she gained fame with hits such as "The Wallflower", "At Last", "Tell Mama", "Something's Got a Hold on Me", and "I'd Rather Go Blind". James's deep and earthy voice bridged the gap between rhythm and blues and rock and roll. She won six Grammy Awards and 17 Blues Music Awards. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999, and the Blues Hall of Fame in 2001. She also received a Grammy lifetime achievement award in 2003.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame called hers "one of the greatest voices of her century" and says she is "forever the matriarch of blues."

Bob Marley was once asked if there was a perfect woman. He replies :
Who cares about perfection?
Even the moon is not perfect, it is full of craters.
The sea is incredibly beautiful, but salty and dark in the depths.
The sky is always infinite, but often cloudy.
So, everything that is beautiful isn't perfect, it's special.
Therefore, every woman can be special to someone.
Stop being "perfect", but try to be free and live, doing what you love, not wanting to impress others!
