First time using the lawn mower this winter!

Had a few crazy 🤪 lawns in the few years doing this job!!

Really enjoyed doing this lawn, so tidy!!

I think this w**d is called Oxalis or of the same family and is in alot of yards.
Not sure what it lets in the air but every time I cut it back with the w**d eater I cannot breath for a few seconds 😖. Grows on edges of lawns and around trees.

Ok.. through winter I have probably come across one or two lawns that did not have this w**d growing somewhere, especially this winter. If you are out looking at houses to buy/rent (this time of the year) and see alot of this w**d then their lawn would have been very wet and more than likely with not very good drainage. For those that didnt know 😊

Good morning 🙂 What a winter 🙃 hopefully the rain will slow down or better... stop! for awhile atleast. Cannot wait to start using the lawn mower and getting the lawns looking good, w**d eating just does not look as good.

Well we are days off the end of 2022!! A few older photos to share and will have many more next year!

Just thought I would share some photos! 🌩🌦 😌😪

Good morning! Spring is in the air!! (photo of lambs because they are so cute!) Can finally get back to mowing lawns instead of w**d eating through the winter now that the ground is starting to dry out.

Mowed this lawn down to short roots with a small patch of green, as per request by owner. It took two hours to mow this little patch as grass kept choking the mulcher and took three x mulching to go over and lowering the mulcher level every time. The fourth mow was with a catcher after I had leaf blown the excess grass up against the house. Catcher still had six loads.

This is what can happen if kikuyu grass is not mowed low it will just keep getting higher, thicker and the mower will just keep going over the top.

Will post a photo in two weeks to see how it has grown 🙃🙂

Been awhile since posting 🙃🙂
Some before and after photo's. Now this section was not that big however I was asked to remove all clippings so this took me 5 hours to complete. Very much a learning lesson as I have never removed the grass when it has been so high.

So the summer mowing is not like spring mowing 😞 grass has dried out and after mowing the lawn it does not have the nice green line. But. here comes the well needed rain 🙃😄😀 bring back the green!

Been awhile since I posted last. Just wanted to let you know of a company that does yards... ATAG tree and garden services ph 021824273 the guys name is Peter and he cleaned up a yard that I mowed and I am amazed at the difference!! If anyone needs any trees cut back or down and/or yard cleaned up this company would be worth looking at.

Coming out of lock down level 4 I got this little challenge but now.. it is looking soooo good! Can mow the whole lawn, still got a few stubborn patches of grass but over all I am happy. Nice big lawn also.

Really lovely little yard here, the owners always keep it so tidy, very enjoyable to mow.

I just love the way this lawn is coming along, mowing short and starting to look green after being mowed, will be really nice coming into Christmas 😍🤩

Awesome day yesterday! Quite surprised how dry the ground was after the weekends weather.

This lawn is so nice to mow, cuts really low too. Has an amazing garden also.

Has been awhile since I last posted!!
Had this lawn to do last week and the kikuyu grass was so thick that after mulching it down a few times the lawn ended up brown 😌. Can not wait to see it in two weeks for next mulch.

Even though I am fully vaccinated, I am getting myself tested weekly, keeping myself and the community safe! What an amazing job the teams are doing at the testing stations across Auckland, BIG thank you to them.

So good to be working again!! A bit of a challenge when the lawns are so long but the end product makes it worth it and very satisfying.
