Chez Marche FoodWorks
We cook food that you like to eat. Since 2001, we have worked to spread the good word about the benefits of eating locally.
Then, as now, as much as possible of the ingredients that we use come from small, diversified, and local farms. The meat that we use is grassfed, pasture raised. And the fruits and vegetables we cook with are grown locally -- within 35 miles -- using organic and sustainable methods. We visit each and every farm and have close, personal relationships with all the farmers and gardeners who we buy f
Chez Marche Cafe's True Confessions Tuesday: The "special honey sauce" on your lemon ricotta pancakes was, in fact, just honey. :-) It was really wonderful local honey from Wayne Eisentraut's Dry Barn Farm, but it was still just honey. Thanks for liking it.

Three years ago yesterday, we called it quits and moved on to other things. Bittersweet.
Thanks, friends, for the good times -- then and yet to come.
And now (for better or worse), we're able to take credit cards on the mobile. That's right. We got the little swipe thing that works on the cell phone, via PayPal. Totally secure, and super easy. So don't bother with the ATM, and their fees, on our account... because we've got it covered. :-)
Also, we're full up on pre-orders until after the Waupaca County Fair. It's catch as catch can until after that. Only so many hours in a day, kiddos. :-) Starting in September, though, feel free to pre-order for pickup at the market again.
See you downtown ...
Pretty little coffee cakes, all in a row, at the farm market tomorrow. Plus brioche and whole wheat bread with walnuts. We'll probably get to the market around 10:30 ... cuz, you know, we tend to run late. BUT it's all fresh. :-) Hope to see you there...
Our dance card is officially full until Fall. If you'd like to get on a waiting list for then, pm us for details.
Busy, busy, busy...
Waupaca Farm Market tomorrow!!! We're bringing whole wheat bread with sunflower seeds, whole wheat bread with raisins, whole wheat sourdough, whole wheat sourdough studded with flax seeds, brioche loaves and buns, rosemary baguettes, Death by Chocolate cookies, Lemon Sugar cookies, Cream Cheese and Prune danishes, croissants, a couple of different kinds of gluten free cookies, and chocolate stuffed puff pastry hearts. And we'll be there from around 11 a.m. until 1:30 or when we sell out, whichever comes first. :-) Hope to see you there!
Need something special for your Sunday Morning? Stop by the next Saturday Waupaca Farm Market and pick up some buttery Danish, cookies or croissants. We make 'em, you eat 'em. :-)
We'll have some wheat-free cookies at the next farm market! Peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin! You can find market details at Waupaca Farm Market
