As I sit and watch a video of a woman screaming at Police Officers because she want to go into her house to get her things it bring me back situations in my life. There are many times that I can recall where I just wanted to give up. I felt like life would be better if I just wasn't around to hear all the things daily or to feel any of the blows. I was 19 and my oldest daughter was 7 months old. I remember it like if it were yesterday. He just came out of jail in New Jersey. May 7th, 2000, and I just finished picking him up from the jail and we stayed up all night talking in the car. We missed each other, he went in when I was 7 months pregnant and that devastated me when it happened, but I didn't care anymore because he was home now and we were going to be the family he always wanted. Can you believe there was a time that I weighed 326lbs!!! A size 26 in pants!!!!! Crazy !!!! Six years ago this was my highest weight and I was both comfortable and uncomfortable with this.
