Hello
Just a heads up that, due to lack of sales I can't justify the cost to renew the website, so I'm closing down the shop.
I've reduced all my tools (scissors, pliers, seam rippers, clips, cutting mats, rulers etc) down to cost-price in the vague hope that some bargain hunters may swoop in and clean me out. Sale ends when the shop vanishes on June 13th.

I've moved the patterns and kits onto Etsy. I've named that shop SprideDesign, if anyone is interested.
and sometime soon me and my aching feet and back will be heading back to the markets to have another go at selling finished work, which is also for sale on Etsy under SnuggleDownunderAU, although I may just combine the shops under Spride. I don't know.

Sorry for the downer post, but I really don't have the mental energy to project optimism when I honestly feel like a total failure right now.

After a lot of blood sweat and swearing, my latest Pattern is finally ready to launch!
Introducing the Cathedral Window Messenger Bag!
*Waits for applause. Not a sausage.*
A big roomy messenger bag with a spectacular 'Cathedral Window' style patchwork flap and adjustable shoulder strap.
I, of course, have made the samples in velvet. Because velvet is pretty and I'm a ma*****st. But it would also do very well in canvas and other heavy weight upholstery fabrics.

Pattern available as a PDF or a Physical paper pattern, and I also have two kits available for the examples I have shown below.

Choose from the Green Julia seen here or there is another Purple Julia in lovely Royal Purples with a few splashes of Mauve and Silver to keep things interesting. I am currently working on sourcing materials for a version in 'Autumn tones' and 'Carribean Sea'.
Julia is my first cushion pattern (that I've actually written down) and will be the template for many more to come!

I originally assumed that the kits would be the main draw, but now I'm wondering if that was a mistake.

Another version of my Clara Bear pattern, this one in snuggly short pile chocolate brown fur, with black velour footpads and ear lining.

I've adjusted things in the shop a bit so you can now buy the bear kits in two ways. Choose to buy the Full Kit as before, or a "No Stuffing' version, which means you need to source your own stuffing, but the size of the package is smaller so the postage doesn't cost as much, so if you already have 200g of soft-fill stuffing in your stash, that's probably the better option for you.
