I managed to watch two back to back plays today. It's kinda strange (and cool) that both were two-handers 😁
Gruesome Playground Injuries was the first one.
I was so glad to have watched this for the first time. SUCH an interesting play with SUCH an interesting storyline. Experienced a rollercoaster of emotions throughout and AMAZING acting on both characters. it was so great to have met you! ✨

Yes I somehow managed to miss the venue and go elsewhere (still not sure how this happened 🤣🥲) BUT, I absolutely loved this. SUCH an interesting plot with so many twists, keeping you on your toes till the end. And just like the first one, AMAZING acting on both characters. Time just flew. take a bow. 👏🏼👏🏼
Both of these Plays were SO worth it. Make sure you watch it given the chance!

Children learn more from imitating than following - This is why it becomes important for adults to "model their behavior" instead of preaching. Their brains are still developing and don't have the capacity that you have as an adult - specially if you're yelling, they're just incapable of comprehending what you're telling them. So instead of telling them what to do, show them how it's done.
It's always a pleasure to work in partnership with the Stop Child Cruelty Trust, to try and give a voice to the voiceless children. This is a series of personal experience sharing videos we did on positive discipline - Mine is the "Kindness Game", that you can play with your kids.
This is more of a dare. Once you start paying attention to your own behavior, you'll not only realize why your child behaves the way they do, you'll also realize how difficult it is "for you" to do the thing you're asking your child of.
There’s no point in criticizing your child’s angry behaviour if you are simmering with anger yourself. Instead of joining their chaos, your job as the adult, is to share your calm with them.
Educate yourself. Begin to heal. End the generational trauma.

Last Friday was absolutely wonderful, I'm sure all of us had an amazing time at the , at Havelock City Mall, "where stories, cultures and cuisines met" - for real! 😁
It was an absolute treat to have performing with us again, and it was a privilege to have shared the stage (and later on a cup of chai 😁☕💪🏼).
We had an amazing audience, an amazing line up and we sure did have fun!!
