HOW I HEALED MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MYSELF.
Was I perfect? Not even close. Was my progress linear? Absolutely not. Did I have bad days? Plenty of them. Did I feel like giving up when I felt even 1 oz of defeat? Honestly, yes.
But look at me now… I took the time through the lenses of a bodybuilder to watch my body constantly go through uncomfortable stages and to be okay with every stage. It’s never easy to see your body fluctuate but the nor-morality of the body. The “perfect” body is never going to be that, and it will also change.
I am constantly battling for growth and to be better. And how do I do that? I embrace the challenges I take my body through to keep leveling up on my own personal levels. I love to see the constant changes to the end result I thrive on. No challenge, no change.
The biggest reward was turning my whole mindset around of trying to fit that small bubble of being “skinny”. I love to body build. I love to eat foods that make me feel good. I love to enjoy time out with friends. I love prioritizing what’s important to me… AND THAT’S ON GROWTH BABYYYY. Don’t sell yourself short. It’s time to grow✅✨🫶

One more lateral raise and it’s over……
How to build 3D delts?!?!?! Let me tell you my few staples for shoulder days‼️
-I train shoulders 2x a week.
-My go to exercises: smith shoulder press, variations of lateral raises, front raise, incline chest press for both the chest/ front delt.
-Rear delts. Can’t skip rear delts when you want them delts fully poppin. I like to incorporate face pulls, bent over rows and machine reverse fly.
Train with a purpose✅, Push past your limits✅ and fuel your body✅. You’re not going to grow anything if your not properly provided it enough/ more.
Get uncomfy….. this road to growth ain’t going to be a stroll on candy land. 😎❤️🔥

🆕 goals don’t deliver new results. New lifestyles do. A lifestyle is a process, not an outcome.
For this reason, all of your energy should go into building better habits, not chasing better results.
Even just the simplest of setting a new “goal” , isn’t going to get the desired outcome…But changing your lifestyle and habits to align with that “goal” will.
My life style thrives of consistency, routine and trust the process. On a daily basis I have my morning routine, work routine and weekend routine all based off my schedule.
❤️🔥I meal prep every morning before work days.
❤️🔥Skin care routine right when I wake up.
❤️🔥Walk 25-30 mins before work days to hit my step goal.
❤️🔥Weekends grocery shop/ cleaning my house.
❤️🔥Water plus /digestive drink every morning fasted.
These are just little tasks I made apart of my life style and daily routine to help reach my goals and what works for me. I love how these little things make me feel and thrive off staying consistent with it every single day!🤘❤️🔥

I hit quads like my life depends on it, can you tell or nawt? 🤭
lol no but next few weeks my main goal is to push the growing phase. Building overall leg development as well as focusing on bringing up my back.
I get asked a lot when the next show is and my short answer is when I’m ready. My feedback/ what I know I need is overall size and development. Growth isn’t going to happen in a month. Taking more time away from the stage is where you need to be and improve. And what not many talk about but maintaining a healthy wellbeing.

So as for me, I’m am excited for yet another but even better improvement season to bring up the areas I want to improve and really test my own waters to bring a winning physique next time around. My time now is for growth!!!! Just wait until these 🍗🍗 double in size ;))))

-growing phases aka eating a sh*t ton and hitting legs like my life depends on it.
-Working exercises that work for me and what I connect with the best.
- Slowing down my movements, focusing on the stretch even if it means lowering the weight.
- learning the difference between targeting my hamstring vs targeting my glutes.
-most important, trusting the process and allowing the growth to happen. Don’t be afraid to get uncomfortable and slow the change to fall into place.

Nothin better than building a strong back😩🤘 let me tell you how.
I have stuck to the same movements for year now and I’ve consistently been perfecting form, speed and adding progress overload such as lower rep range and upping the weight gradually. That way I am challenging myself/ pushing hard to build quality muscle. And this applies to all areas into building muscle but when talking about the back, here are some exercises I been doing to help building worth, density and creativity that X frame.
Back day staples:
❤️🔥High/ low row machine
❤️🔥T bar row
❤️🔥Pullovers
❤️🔥Pull ups (BW & assisted)
❤️🔥Face pulls
Lots of variations you can do to switch it up on how you perform these. As long as you are performing it properly and feeling it wear the muscle you’re trying to target. For example if you’re rowing you want to make sure your traps or biceps are not over powering the movement. This is when perfecting your form is crucial and why consistency is super important!

🔥Let me tell you if you want more shape, more strength, more muscle… it’s not going come from skipping that meal or adding more cardio because you are afraid of gaining weight.
🔥Bulking doesn’t have to mean dirty eating & cutting out all cardio. You can productively eat cleaner calorie dense meals, keep cardio, strength train with a purpose and build an overall well balance physique.
🔥I’m not saying it’s going to feel easy most of the time. And I’m not saying you won’t feel uncomfortable at some times either but that’s all apart of progress and growth. You won’t grow in a comfortable state. Remember that!!!!
🔥You can bulk in a healthy and enjoyable way to find what works for you and your body. So let’s stop worrying about the number on the scale and time to push the GROWTH!

Trust it, love it, embrace change.
Building takes time, consistency, failing, learning, evolving and developing.
From the start of my fitness journey I was hurting my progress from under fueling and over doing it in the gym.
Then I fully committed to a growing phase by eating in a surplus, training hard, recovering harder and allowing myself to not focus over the number on the scale..
Then entered a cutting phase of prep while eating in a calorie deficit, added more cardiovascular activity and training intensity…
The point of this is progress is not linear. It is all a process that can’t be rushed and will never look the same depending on what phase you’re in. It will never be perfect but as long as you constantly improving and learning from your mistakes, consistency will also be shown in the end results. One day doesn’t dictate the rest of the week, the month, the year. Slipping up? Get right back on track!!!!
Get uncomfortable….. it’s time to evolve instead of a repeat… 🤘🔥
