And if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. After MAFIA KINGS, I'd say that MIDNIGHT DESIRE is my favorite series I've written. (I love all my book children...but some were more fun to make than others.)

It has a murder mystery at its core... a HOT leader of a motorcycle gang... some really funny dialogue... and some of my favorite secondary characters I've ever written. (Like Sloane, the MMC's sassy ex-wife who runs a rival biker gang.) And it's got SCORCHING hot scenes, an HEA, and no Other Woman Drama.

PS - Still hard at work on LARS. I'm at the extended flashback where he meets Dario in prison and gets recruited as the enforcer for the Rosolini family. It's good to have the spotlight back on Dario again, too. I know him a lot better than I did in Book One, which makes it easier and more fun to write him.

PPS - I'll release LARS as soon as I finish writing and editing. I'm aiming for a February 2024 release - just a few months away!

Just a little update on book 3 - Mafia Kings: Massimo!

I'd say I'm about 70% through the rough draft. I was hoping to publish in late September, but I think a more realistic date might be early October.

Here's a little sumpin' sumpin' for you to let you know my thoughts about the character.

Massimo's a LOT more handsome (I'll share the cover in the weeks ahead), but I see him as having the same build as the actor who played the Mountain in GAME OF THRONES. (The guy's last name is Bjornsson, and he was actually the third actor to play the role - and the best, in my opinion.)

Bjornsson is 6'9" - and his real-life wife is only 5'2"! I've included a shot from their wedding.

That's about the same height difference between Massimo and Lucia (the female MC). I originally said Massimo was about 6'7", so I'm stuck with that... I probably would have made him a bit taller if I could go back in time. So Lucia is about 5'0" to 5'2". She's definitely the shortest of our heroines so far.

Anyway - thought you might enjoy knowing how the two characters will look standing next to each other!
