Here's a fantastic video from Stephen Taylor giving you an honest, humble talk about how beginners address the drums and how to develop a better mindset as a growing musician. I can also raise my hand to a number of these and I 100% agree with what he says! Some of you students may have already heard me say something along the same lines before!

Are you and your children having the summer blues? You've had your family BBQ's, the kids are back from their summer camps, and you took that well deserved vacation to the beach. Last year, we worked with multiple students in regards to their marching band success. We're adding more lesson times to the week and mid-day slots have been added as well. If you or someone you know has a soon-to-be bored student on your hands, consider us for some relief!

Brass instruments create sounds by the iconic "buzzing" of the players lips. This instrument family covers everything from warm, low tones created by the tuba or euphonium to sharp, snappy jazz licks from the trumpet and trombone. Like their siblings in the woodwind family, most remember these instruments from school band, but they can still be found in professional settings around the world!
If you're interested in the wind studio or any other service we provide, feel free to contact us! We hope to talk to you soon!
Although instruments like the saxophone and flute cause this instrument family to be a little confusing, woodwind instruments are classified by vibrating one or more reed or by passing air over the mouthpiece. They're also recognizable by having more hand/finger control when compared to their sister instrument family. Many are familiar with these instruments from their years in school band, but these instruments can be found in multiple genres and all sorts of stages around the world.

Keyboard instruments create sounds through the motion of pressing a key, button, or lever. Out of all the keyboard instruments, piano is the most popular! Piano students learn a lot of music concepts that other instruments don't immediately learn. It is a fantastic option for those who like different genres of music and wouldn't worry about being in the spotlight or complementing someone else.
If you're interested in keyboard/piano lessons or any other service we provide, feel free to contact us! We hope to talk to you soon!
String instruments are those that produce sound when strings on the instrument are pulled, hit, or rubbed with a bow.
