In Loving Memory...
If there was one person that always believed in my creativity and always pushed me to do great in anything I did, that would be my grandmother. Yes I had the support from the rest of my family as well but there was something special about her. I think grandmother’s hold a special place in each and everyone’s heart. In my eyes she was very talented. Since at a young age, I always remember her sewing or doing something crafty. I looked up to her and always wanted her to teach me her ways. I remember her fixing my prom dress for my senior year (one that I didn't want to go to but she told me to go) and I was still surprised at how well she did it. She was that type of grandma that you could tell her anything and she would give you the straight truth! I loved holidays at her house because we would just sit at times and point and joke at everyone! Her laugh was contagious & at times I still hear it. One month before my wedding day she passed away. It was one of the hardest days of my life. Since then I always told myself that I wanted to do something in her memory. Now here it is....Days before I officially started "The Yellow Flower" I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this. On a Sunday at church I felt I got the confirmation I needed, from both God and her. Her favorite color was yellow & I always told her she was beautiful like a flower. On the day of her funeral my rose bush bloomed ONE yellow rose. I never knew what color that rose bush was, since it had NEVER bloomed in the prior years. So with all that, this is done in her memory. Thank for your support & God Bless!
