In order for the body to be in good health and pain free, the Qi needs to flow freely and without blockage. When there is little movement of the body Qi flow stagnates and can become blocked. This can result in pain and ill health. This is an old Chinese saying, but we know from western science that movement of the body is crucial to good health and managing pain. Qigong is the ideal low impact movement form to promote Qi flow and balance, and hence good health and being pain free.
