Hubby is gone to have a weekend fun getaway. So momma decided to can. Lol frig I CANNOT wait for canning season. So for now we did strawberry lemonade concentrate and pickled red onion π₯°π so friggen good.
This is truely my happy place. Taking out my canner just puts the biggest smile on my face. What should I do next? Lol
Hereβs the yellow gold I made about 8 weeks ago. Strained and ready to use π Iβll be making more. This will boost your immune system and when sick will kick that nastyness right out of you. Take one TBSP daily or if sick up to three times a day:)
Hello my canning friends π itβs been a while and I know π
Letβs make cranberry sauce in time for Xmas π
What you will need
4 cups of fresh cranberries
3/4 cup of white sugar
1/4 cup of orange juice
And zest of an orange(optinal)
Immersion blender (optional)
In a saucepan add orange juice,sugar,and zest and put on med heat. Heat until the sugar is melted. About 2 minutes. Add cranberries and wait till they start popping and soft⦠probably around 7 or so minutes. Use your immersion blender if you want it purée or use potatoe masher if you still like it a bit chunky. Put in fla jar and in the fridge. This will last you about 10days.
If you wish to have it shelf safe water bath for 15minutes. Voila you have delicious homeade cranberry sauce π₯°π₯°π₯°
62 pickles. My helper did AMAZINGGGGGG thank ally π₯°π₯°π₯°
I have some that are also a little spicy and then regular. π

Here it is. BURRITO IN A JAR π serve on a wrap or as a dip with tortillas. Can melt some cheese and odd hot sauce and or sour cream. The sky is the limit π₯°π₯°π₯°

Iβm so friggen excited πππ I picked up my birds from Montpellier Farms in chemmy tonight. (Same amazing local farm I bought my delicious beef from) eating local healthy free range chickens will NEVER compare to store bought. Itβs not more expensive and to be honest the quality is to die for π₯°π₯°π₯°
Will be pressure COOKING a few tomorrow then process them into soups..stewsβ¦broth and chicken burritos π stay tuned ππππ

This was yesterday when I was processing the beef. Itβs ok Iβm to go over the 11pounds but never let it go under π always stay near your canner and watch that gauge. Itβs the whole process but obviously time lapse lol. From watching the steam out waiting 10minutes and then putting your weight on to then your processing time.
After all that. Leaving your pressure release on its own π
