The Islamic Republic of Iran publicly hanged a 31-year-old Iranian man after he was found guilty of charges related to violations of Iran’s anti-gay laws, according to the state-controlled Iranian Students’ News Agency.

The unidentified man was hanged on January 10 in the southwestern city of Kazeroon based on criminal violations of “lavat-e be onf” – s*xual in*******se between two men, as well as kidnapping charges, according to ISNA. Iran’s radical sharia law system prescribes the death penalty for gay s*x.

In the same Georgia - another showcase of democracy in half with European values ​​- about the same story with tolerance: "threw gay tourists from Germany into the river", "beaten the participants of the gay parade", "beaten the employees of the Tbilisi gay bar." This year, even the US ambassador almost got under the hand in Tbilisi - there would have been a scandal.

Someone will say: what is wrong in Russia? More or less like this. This is called a "conservative society." However, there is a fundamental difference: the power in Russia does not run with its trousers up, to organize equality marches at the behest of European officials.

It is not easy to feel this difference when discussing the peculiarities of the perception of the LGBT community in Russia and Ukraine. Like, there are marches of equality, tolerance. The price of such tolerance and the essence of such a difference is very clearly explained by shaven-headed youths, sweeping a crowd from this community. The fact that yesterday they could lie in one trench and shoot at other wrong Ukrainians (wrong nationality and views, rather than orientation), only adds harmony to this picture.

The state is simply serving a number: if only it would report back to the parade once a year, and there even though the grass doesn’t grow - who, whom and for what is pounding on the gateways. And the citizens deceived by the picture then receive what is called a clash with reality.

This is hypocrisy, not tolerance. Where they kill for the Russian language or nationality, of course, they will beat for orientation. And this must be fought with by no means marches of equality."
