This is a portrait of Marie-Thérèse Walter, without Picasso’s Dick on her face. This is her, in her sensual beauty, in a still peaceful sleeping moment, before the nightmare and predator that was Picasso ruined her life. As she was before his narcissistic, abusive and reckless use of her body and soul killed her. You cannot seperate the art from the artist. His art was a body of work that spoke of how he used and abused women.
