The galaxy closest to our Milky Way is called Andromeda. And we are moving towards each other. It will take about 7 billion years, and we will collide. The fact is that there is a black hole in the center of our galaxy – just like Andromeda.

The cosmos is huge, we have already established this, and there is every chance that we have already sent a message into space thousands of years ago and forgotten about it (think about how societies change over time).
We could either still be waiting for someone to receive this message, or a response from there. In that sense, we would just constantly introduce ourselves to each other over and over again, whoever it was...

This idea is based on a complex theory known as vacuum decay – in fact, it is the self-destruct button of the universe! At the moment, this is only a guess, but it boils down to whether the universe is in a true or false vacuum: a true vacuum is stable, but a false vacuum is not.
If a random quantum oscillation allows a false vacuum to release its potential energy, it will create a bubble of true vacuum that will expand at the speed of light and destroy everything it touches.
