With isolation ending today, I would Just like to make it clear of anyone is feeling unwell or tests positive please please rearrange your hair appointments.

Being in such close contact with you all I would struggle to work if I came In to contact with covid, and am in contact with many vulnerable people.

So please be aware in my job I have to be extra careful to carry on working, I hope you all understand 🥰

I’ve Been Giving Some Thought To The Full Lifting Of Restrictions On The 19th Of July & Have Decided For The Time Being, I Won’t Be Making Any Changes To Current Covid Safety Procedures.

A Hairdressing Appointment Involves Prolonged Close Contact Which Comes With A Significantly Higher Risk Of Catching And Passing On Infection, Obviously I See A Great Number Of People And Being In The Care Home I’m Worried About This.

So I’m Choosing To Err On The Side Of Caution For Now. While The Long Term Road-Map From The Government Is Still Not As Clear As We Would Like. 🙄

Key For Me Is To Remain Open & Keep My Business Going, I Feel The Best Way To Do That Is By Retaining The Safety Measures I Have In Place. I Will Continue To wear Mask & Still Fully Sanitise Between Clients. 🧹🧽

I Will Monitor The SAGE Covid Figures In The Weeks That Follow The Restrictions Lift & If There Is No Significant Spike Then Will Look The Review & Relax The Covid Safety Procedures. I Hope You Will Understand & Agree A Gradual Return To ‘Normal’ Will Keep Us All Safer ❤️ 🦠 👊🏼

Health Secretary Matt Hancock has announced this afternoon that further areas across England will be placed into the toughest Tier 4 restrictions. This includes the remaining parts of the South East, as well as large parts of the Midlands, North-East and South-West England at 00.01 on 31 December. This will require the closure of all personal care services (including mobile businesses).

The Coronavirus Business Grant and Local Restrictions Support Grant given to businesses forced to close under the Tier restrictions will be available for Tier 4 businesses. With three-quarters of England now in Tier 4 we are continuing to lobby on behalf of the industry for targeted financial support.
