I am super excited to share that I was able to move production of our shirts to a local screen printing company who has been struggling to keep their employees paid due to lack of work! This is OUR mission! To give back to the community that has been supporting us as healthcare workers! This company primarily works on projects for the local schools, but since schools are shutdown, they have no work right now. CORRECTION, because of YOU, they now have work and can call some of their employees in!! Shirts will be ready for delivery and shipping by next week! I can't explain how beautiful of a feeling it has been to be "saved" by the community that we are serving. There were a couple of weeks there where we fully relied on their N95 mask donations to stay safe. Now, with extensions in the stay at home order, many people in the same community are struggling financially as their places of work are closed and their income stream cut off. I want to help. During my stay at home quarantine time between shifts, I developed a shirt line called "Hold The Line." Hopefully it's an image that healthcare workers and community members can identify with in our efforts to flatten the curve, reduce the number of Covid-19 cases, and continue to fight this battle by Holding the Line. A portion of all t-shirt sales will be donated to local community organizations that are helping to provide meals and support additional services for our community members most in need.
