New deck w/ clam shell with cedar railing and aluminum spindles. We used flashing membrane to waterproof the deck and screened underneath the decking for a future porch conversion.

This custom gives Lisa’s kitchen that extra edge. It features drop down doors to under seat storage. Materials used: Southern Yellow Pine and Early American stain. Love how this turned out.

Late March a tornado ripped through 22nd Ave in Coralville and leveled 10th St. Was happy to get into this duplex and reframe integral parts of the structure including new garage / new East and west gable ends / new deck. After drywall, I’ll be ready to hammer out the trim work 🔨

Finished some important ceiling details before flooring next week! Love how the shiplap and crown molding turned out on the tray ceiling. Think my favorite is the mudroom knotty pine.
Sprayed everything in bright white emerald urethane.
Painting at Chipman Lane is close. Been 7 years since I’ve sprayed and edged an entire home. Learned from the best in Jay Montgomery some time ago in college!

Milled and built 22 planters boxes from red Grandis. Want to thank Build To Suit and Corey Barrett for bringing me on the job. opens Wednesday July 5th. Met with the build team that made this happen and tested some food, highly recommend it.
I have to say I’m a fan of Smart Siding Smoky Ash!
