Do you wanna BISH BASH for FREE? Help us out, and you can! We need a bunch of volunteers to: help artists install/de-install, work the door, set up/clean up, support the food/bar situation, and generally help keep everything sailing smoothly. Volunteers work a 2-3 hour shift in exchange for free admission to all BISH BASH revelry! To express interest and availability, please fill out this Volunteer Form. Questions? 🤩 Help local artists create an epic immersive art party! 🤩
It's all happening!! BISH BASH is coming together before our eyes and we are so excited. We’ve gathered a team of local artists and makers to transform the space with a collection of large- and small-scale art installations including light projection, digital media, papier-mâché sculpture, upcycled materials, textiles, murals, time lapse video, dioramas and more! Artists include Chroma Council, Gloom Cake, Hannah Liongoren, Charity Stolarz, Aprile Hodgkins, Kevin Veronneau, Corinne Wahlberg, John Jacobson and Twin Goat. (More artist spotlights to come!)
Transforming a blank space into an immersive other-world experience takes resources. In addition to covering the cost of installation materials, we really want to be able to pay the hardworking artists, performers and service providers fairly because we value their work and their roles in our community. If you have the means, please consider donating so these folks can continue doing the work they love and the BISH BASH vision can be realized fully and fairly.
This is not a profit-making endeavor and we are not funded by or associated with any organization or institution. It’s a grassroots, DIY effort. All proceeds go to the artists, performers and service providers of BISH BASH!
