In some parts of Japan people believe that you are born with a set number of breaths that you will take in this lifetime. Therefore, if you seek to live a long life you must breath deeply and slowly.

Also did you know that depending on if you primarily breath out of your mouth or your nose it will impact your face shape? Breathing primarily from your nose is said to give you a stronger jaw line and more defines cheekbones. So are you a mouth breather or a nose breather?! Let me know in the comments ⬇️

Sometimes we just need to take a moment to slow down, look around and appreciate the good things in life. For example, how happy I am to be feeling mentally and physically rested and recharged after my time away travelling. A break and some time away was exactly what I needed. I feel extremely lucky to have been able to travel and experience new things that I'll never forget. As much as I wanted to stay away, I knew it was time to come home.

I also want to let you know how grateful I am for you and your patience as I get back into the swing of things. I'm so excited to continue this journey with you and I'm excited to see what the future holds. I have some exciting things planned for this year and I can't wait to share them with you! In the meantime, you can always reach out to book with me or to chat!

Force vs push…what do they mean to you?

This dark of the moon prompted me to reflect on what they mean to me. Durning this period I felt a profound call to rest, this caused me some stress as I had already taken time off and had things booked in my schedule. Wanting to honour both my body and my commitments, I though about each commitment in the sense of weather they would make me feel better or more drained upon completion. Using this method I was able to decide what was worth PUSHING myself to do and what what not worth FORCING myself to do.

I like to think of it like this…you will never know if a puzzle piece fits together unless you give it a gentle push, and you will never be able to force two puzzle pieces together that don’t fit. 🧩

My favourite thing that has happened since I quit smoking almost 6 months ago is when one of my n**e yoga clients asked me if I got implants 😂when in reality it was just healthy weight gain after ditching an unhealthy habit.

Coming from a ballet and modelling background, gaining weight can be seen as a disastrous thing! Practicing N**E YOGA however has allowed me to accept my body and be grateful for all it allows me to do. I feel honoured to be able to share this practice with others around the world 🌎 So far I’ve worked with clients from: Canada 🇨🇦 USA 🇺🇸 Germany 🇩🇪 Australia 🇦🇺 England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Leading reiki trainings brings me such joy, knowing my students are empowered through their attunements lights me up because I know they already have the tools within themselves and their reiki training simply makes these tools more easily accessible to them. It feels so good knowing that my students who have competed reiki trainings with me are now enjoying reiki for themselves and their clients. Some students have gone on to open practices while other use reiki to compliment whatever field they are working in. It has been a life changing journey for me and I am so grateful I get to share my experience and knowledge with others.

Grateful for sisterhood, being surrounded by strong women, an accepting community, family, yoga, dancing, skinny dipping, getting to do what I love 🤍

N**E YOGA 🧘🏼‍♀️ one of my personal favourite embodiment and empowerment practices 🥰 being in your natural state while practicing yoga allows you to make self corrections and explore your body in a loving and liberating way.

I came up with the idea of teaching n**e yoga while on a camping trip with a good friend a few years ago. We were doing an off-site camping (my first time) and I thought I would have to be hiking deep into the woods and had to carry everything with us on our backs. Therefore I brought leggings, sweaters and long shirts because I was thinking it would be cold at night and was scared of ticks so I wanted to be covered up. However it turned out we were able to find a perfect spot not far from where we parked and were in direct sunlight.. that was a bit of an issue for me as I hadn’t brought any summer clothes even thought it was July 😅 so silly me was sweating in my long shirts and leggings when my friend suggested, why don’t you just go n**e? I was surprised that my conservative friend made such a suggestion! She did not have to ask me twice I gladly stripped down and suggested I led a n**e yoga practice for us under the sun☀️ once we were done savasana she turned to me and said “have you ever considered teaching n**e yoga?” I told her I had, but I was nervous at how it would be received. She encouraged me to give it a try and since then I have had the pleasure of privately working with many students of all yoga levels with my online program. 🥰
