The Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge is only a week away and we are looking for volunteers. From now until the end of Sunday if you volunteer one day you can race one day for free!
Simply register as a volunteer on ultrasignup and pick the shift you are interested in, and then message me and let me know what day you would like to run!

We are less then three weeks out for the 8th showing of the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge!

I can’t believe it has already been 7 years since I first put this race on.

This year will be the first year each race starts and finishes at Greenwaters Park. With registration you receive optional camping Thursday through Sunday. Three delicious meals, showers, three amazing trails, and so much more!

This year we will have a full recovery room and board game room for nightly entertainment. We will also be showing a movie as an entrainment portion on Saturday.

Lastly, we will have the best trail running photographer in the biz there! will be taking photos each day and we will project day 1’s photos on the big screen during day 2. And Day 2 on day 3.

This year will definitely be best OTSC ever! Don’t miss out.

Hello fellow trail runners! The Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge is fast approaching. We are looking for volunteers for one, two, or all three days. The race is held on July 12th-14th in beautiful Oakridge, Oregon at Greenwaters Park. You will be able to camp at the park and will receive food and beverage for each day you volunteer. Volunteer - Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge

Thank you everyone who participated in the Vert Challenge! We had a lot of stout running submissions. I am glad you all got out there and challenges yourself on some serious vert!

The most vert in one run was won by .actually throwing down over 14,000 feet of vert in one run! Very fittingly she chose Dog Mountain to do this epic vert run on, which is a race I put on called The Ruff:) check it out!

The winner of most vert per mile with a staggering 982 feet of vert per mile was doing five escalators.

Mike is getting a pair of Calderas to fuel is vert addiction, while Katya will be rocking the Cascadias.

Vert Challenge extended!
I have had a few runners express interest in extending the vert challenge until next Sunday, April 21st. That will be the last day you can submit your run.

To recap is offering a pair of shoes to anyone who runs the most vert in one run and who runs the most vert per mile in one run. No treadmills and the vert per mile run has to be At least 5 miles in length. That’s it! Happy verting!

Fun Challenge alert! Tomorrow is a new month and a great time to do a vert day:)

We are celebrating our new shoe sponsor by doing a fun challenge. Below are the rules:
From now until April 14th post a run where you get the most vert possible, or the most vert per mile with the run being a minimum of 5 miles.
The runner who posts the most vert in one run and the runner who runs the most vert per mile will both win a pair of Brooks shoes of their choice!

Every year I add to the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge to try to improve on the runners experience. This year is no different. New this year all three days will start and finish at the amazing Greenwaters Amphitheater pavilion. You can now also camp at the park Thursday through Sunday!

Finally, to make it more family oriented we are doing a fun kids run one of the evenings, and game night options every night, as well as an amazing recovery room to keep those muscles loose.

This will truly be a fun filled weekend that you won’t want to miss!

Thank you for supporting Elevated Trail Racing for the 2023 season! We are looking forward to 2024 and are growing our lineup! Below is our race schedule:

On January 1st registration will open for the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge! Early bird registration will only be two weeks. New this year: We will have everyday start and finish at the Greenwaters Park Amphitheater. We also have a completely new course for Sunday’s race. What you will get with registration is three full nights camping at the venue (optional) 3 different trails, 3 meals, 2 optional evening events. These will be fun events to get to know your fellow trail running peers. We will also have a kids run so it is a family friendly weekend. Dogs are allowed to race but we cap it out to only five dogs for the Friday and Saturday races. The Sunday race has an unlimited number because it will be a looped course!
This race is a true three day running festival packed with fun activities. Experience something new for 2024 and see what the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge has to offer!

This Sunday Elevated Trail Racing has two races opening up for registration. Westfir 50k-30k and The Ruff! The Westfir race will be held on October 27th, and The Ruff will be on November 17th. The Ruff was ruff! Col, wet and very windy but oh so much fun! Thank you everyone who braved the weather and took on this challenging course. Even with the harsh conditions we still had a course record fall with Zach running a time of 56:47 beating by less then one second!

We had so much fun at The Westfir 50k-30k on Sunday. We were lucky enough to have wonderful weather and smiles all around. Thank you so much for coming out and experiencing the trails that Westfir has to offer.

The Westfir 50k-30k is just under two weeks away! These trails will be some of the favorite trails you have run on. Promise! So soft, so buttery, and lush. There is still time to register and experience these great trails.
We also need more volunteers! Volunteering for a race is a great and fun way to become involved in the running community. Races would not happen without volunteers and I want to think everyone of you!!

We will be having a Westfir 50k-30k preview run on October 1st! Anyone is welcome, even if you do not plan on competing in the race. We will be meeting at the Covered Bridge parking lot in Westfir at 10 am on Sunday, October 1st. We will be running up the Alpine trail and back down. We will have a 6, 8, and 11 mile option. If you wanted to run longer than that, that is done too! The trails go forever.

We are hitting our stride for the Elevated Trail racing season! Westfir 50k-30k will be held on October 29th. The Ruff will be on November 19th, and Storm the Castle will be held on December 2nd. All three races are open for registration! All three races have a low key vibe, great aid stations, and even better trails! The fall and beginning of winter is one of my favorite times to run in the PNW. Come out and experience some great trails with a healthy amount of vert!

The Oregon Cascades 100 is this Saturday! We are assembling a super fun crew at the Dutchman aid station, but are still looking for one or two more lucky runner souls that want to be a part of this awesome experience. DM me if interested!!

Storm The Castle registration opens August 12th! Early bird registration is only $50! This is our last race and most laid back of the season. This is a great beginner trail runner race or seasoned competitive runner. There are no cut offs, and although the climb is long and unrelenting, the trail is buttery smooth. A great race to close off the 2023 season!

The 7th year of the Oakridge Triple Summit Challenge was a success! We were granted great weather and blessed with good air quality all weekend. Thank you so much for everyone who came out and supported the race. My heart is full ❤️
