On May 27, 2024, the Doug Poppa Podcast broke the story in Episode 154, 'VEGAS COPS TARGETED CITIZENS ON STRIP, VIOLATED CIVIL RIGHTS, PROVOKED ALTERCATIONS TO MAKE ARRESTS, SOURCES SAY.' On August 30, 2024, the Las Vegas Metro Police arrested LVMPD Sgt. Kevin Menon and charged Menon with one count of Oppression under Color of Office with Force, eight counts of Oppression under Color of Office, two counts of Subornation of Perjury, and one count of Battery on a Protected Person. NEW. 1 of 4. LVMPD Homicide Det. Justine Gatus, the lead detective in the Jeff German murder investigation is the former Vice detective who outed then Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Melanie Andress Tobiasson as a confidential source on October 25, 2016, to another LVMPD officer.

How much more corruption in the Las Vegas Metro Police Vice Section would have been uncovered in 2018 if then LVMPD Sheriff Joe Lombardo (now governor) and Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson had done the right thing. BREAKING. LVMPD VICE SCANDAL. Sources: Vice sergeant who was on suspension for alleged criminal misconduct involving massage parlors retired this week during probe. Vice detective allegedly involved with pimp who was under criminal investigation, is married to LVMPD officer. Vice lieutenant was transferred out of unit because of scandal.

UPDATE. The prosecution's evidence presented at opening was compelling and overwhelming. I thought the defense opening was weak and preposterous. Telles committed the murder IMO!
