Rider Kate Dance went to the New Forrest for Round 2 of the Southern XC series. Facing strong headwinds and tough competition, Kate took the lead off the grid but couldn’t hold the pace and took a 2nd place finish. A good result indeed 👏

First weekend of racing in 2021 for team members Kate Dance and Bradly Hurr- and they definitely felt it too!
Both thoroughly enjoyed being back between the tapes with Bradly ripping the course and Kate pushing hard to take a podium position in 3rd place.
It was a great atmosphere and really well planned around the current COVID restrictions. Thanks to Southern XC MTB Races for staging a superb Round 1 at Reading- looking forward to seeing you guys for Round2 in the New Forrest.

Back between the tapes and first race since lockdown. Super course, lovely event hosts and volunteers make for a great day. Very well organised and I actually preferred the revised registration/racing format. Happy to take a 2nd place in category 🥈 Southern XC MTB Races
