This customer wanted more performance from this already powerful Audi Quattro saloon. We often quote expected bhp gains but how does that translate in the real world?

We were able to measure 0-60 mph and 30-70 mph times on the same stretch of road before and after completing our engine remap.

* We made the customer aware that the carbon issue with these petrol engines is mainly around the inlet valves where the fuel goes to the cylinders and that our machine cleans the 🔥 hot parts of the engine like the cylinders and turbo and NOT the inlet valves
* Despite this, as the car had over 80k miles on the clock the customer wanted to ensure there wasn't a build up of carbon inside the engine and thought £95 was a good investment in their overall engine health
* On the test drive after the clean the customer reported a slight improvement in acceleration indicating carbon had been present and removed
* We recommended a visit to a garage that has the inlet valve cleaning machines that use a method called walnut blasting to remove carbon known to build up on the inlet valves

* We recently installed an economy map on this Land Rover Disco 3
* The customer was delighted with the improvement in low down torque and throttle response as well as a much better return on fuel economy
* We waited a few weeks before the carbon clean so that we could see any additional improvements in fuel economy and engine performance aside from the ecu remap
* Because this vehicle has done way in excess of 100k miles, the recommendation is to perform 2 cleaning cycles a few days apart in order to clear as much carbon build up out of the engine
* First cleaning cycle completed in an hour
* We'll report back after the second cleaning cycle once the owner has been able to see any further improvements ⚡️💥🔥

Ford Transit Mk6 camper van in for a blend map today. The customer wanted more power from the sturdy but sluggish 2.4 ltr diesel engine in this reliable Ford lump. She was concerned about over stressing the 18 year old engine so we decided that a blend map would be the best option given the good service history and only 88k miles on the clock. Improvements of around:

💥 torque from 200 to 240 Nm

Despite the relatively modest gains above, the driving experience was "vastly improved" according to the customer. In particular, the low rev range torque and throttle response "makes a huge difference"!
