We are excited to launch our new softball program at the Players Club. This new program will be led by Sarah Chow. Sarah brings an impressive, experienced resume to the Players Club.

Born and raised in Victoria, Sarah played softball simultaneously out of Layritz Little League and the Victoria Fastball Club (Devils) which led to representing Team Canada at the Little League World Series (2006), 10 Provincial Championships and four National Championships.(2008,2010-2012).
• 2008 U14 Nationals - All Star Shortstop
• 2010 U16 Nationals - All Star Pitcher

After completion of travel ball, Sarah attended Utah State University (2013-2016) on a four year softball scholarship (BSc in Human Development - Family Life Studies).
• 2015 Second-Team All Mountain West - Outfield
• NCAA DI Record - Single-Game Triples

After graduation, Sarah played at the international level for the Senior Women’s National Team (2017-2018) playing in the Canada Cup, World Cup, Japan Cup and the National Pro Fastpitch League.

As the baseball season cranks up and players get back on field, this pic shows the importance of getting mental reps. Working on your pre-pitch rhythm, routine, breath and fundamentals is as important as what you do when the pitch comes. We’ve attended a lot of games this weekend. Seeing players flat footed as the pitch is delivered has been a very regular thing.
