Melting at No.14…🥵

It’s not only the wax that’s been melting at No.14 this week! High temperatures are not ideal when there are candles to be poured as they take longer to cool - or can set with an uneven surface or crystals can appear. Which is why we have been working early in the morning or late in the evening to beat the heat.

Soy wax is notoriously temperamental to work with but when poured with care and in the right environment, it really is lovely to work with and the results are always worth it.

And when we do clock-off, there are some spectacular sunsets to enjoy.

We’ve been a bit quiet on the social media front lately (sorry!) but we’ve certainly been busy behind the scenes cooking up some new and exciting products and projects. More on that soon!

It is always a joy to spend a day with

Possibly maybe. Coincidentally, we have introduced 4 fragrances from our range to create a mini collection of wax melts.

Simply break a wax melt segment off and put it in your wax/oil burner that is warmed by a standard non-scented tealight to release a beautiful aroma.

Green Parakeets…🦜

Not something you would associate with Hampton Wick but they are very much part of everyday life here; residing in the trees and parks of this part of SW London.

These cheeky birds were the inspiration behind our latest ‘Green Tea & Jasmine’ scented candle. A bright, fresh and uplifting aroma of green tea, bergamot and cardamom top notes, jasmine middle/heart notes and subtle musk and cedarwood base notes.

Two parakeets were on the roof of No.14 this morning - perhaps reminding me to do a post about them?
